x-24 > -6*4 ... note the inequality sign flips, see "extra info" below

x-24 > -24

x-24+24 > -24+24 ... add 24 to both sides

x > 0

Therefore, the answer is x > 0 meaning that x is greater than 0.

To graph this, draw a number line. Plot an open circle at 0. Then shade to the right. The open circle or hole says to the reader "do not include this value as part of the solution set"

extra info: the inequality sign flips only when you multiply both sides by a negative number. In this case, we multiplied both sides by -6.
