It is 2/3 of whole collection

then it is 3/5 of the 2/3

therefore she heard 3/5 of music in 2/3 of her collection

=3/5×2/5

=6/25

For this case we have that Frannie placed
\frac {2} {3}of her collection of music on the MP3 player, on vacation I hear
\frac {3} {5} of those
\frac {2} {3} of music. Now, to know how much music I hear on holiday we have the following rule of three:

If
\frac {2} {3}represent all of the music in the player, we want to know how much they represent
\frac {3} {5}

\frac {2} {3} ----------------> 1\\\frac {3} {5} ----------------> x

Where "x" represents the amount of music heard on vacation:

x = \frac {\frac {3} {5} * 1} {\frac {2} {3}}x = \frac {9} {10}

ANswer:

x = \frac {9} {10}
