What is the solution to the following system of equations?

y=6x-11
-2x-3y=-7

y=6x-11
-2x-3y=-7

Take "6x-11" and insert it where it says 3y. Now you have:

-2x-3(6x-11)=-7

Use distributive property (-3 × 6x) ( -3 × -11). Now you have:

-2x-18x+33=-7

Combine like terms. (-2x + -18x). Now you have:

-20x+33=-7

Subtract 33 from both sides (33-33 and -7-33). Now you have:

-20x=-40

Divide -20 from both sides (-20x/20 and -40/-20). Now you have:
