I'm not the best at writing free verse poems, but I do have a suggestion. One tip for writing is to look at objects around you for inspiration. focus on one thing and describe it in your head. think of why it is important. what is it used for? is it overlooked in your daily life? this is typically how I think of poem ideas.

free verse poems are harder to make than other poems for most people. they really just have to come to you.

hope that I was at least somewhat helpful! :)

Answer:

following footsteps,

nothing between these worlds,

Im stuck in a whole,

nothing to stop it,

Over the raindrops,

The sounds of thunder overrules,

tell me a story of love,

the one where the water is grouped,

Then you are separated,

Nothing between these lies,

Something you've learned to do,

but helps you no less,

Than crying fake tears,

The only person around,

The product of nothing,

Cause in the end,

The flow isn't gone,

Cause the story has something you follow,

The words that are whispered,

And you find a story the love story,

But then you find out,

on this empty page,

this story of love,

Had never existed.

LOL... Hope this helps, I love writing poetry but this was hard and this is also cringey.
