Answer:

h(x)=12x-9

Explanation:

We are given the two functions:

f(x)=4x-2\text{ and } g(x)=-8x+7

And we want to find:

h(x)=f(x)-g(x)

So, by substitution:

h(x)=(4x-2)-(-8x+7)

Simplify. Distribute:

h(x)=(4x-2)+(8x-7)

Rearrange:

h(x)=(4x+8x)+(-2-7)

Combine like terms. Hence:

h(x)=12x-9
