The monsters says, “I declared everlasting war against the species, and, more than all, against him who had formed me” What does the monster mean by this and why does he feel the way he does? (What happened to make him so angry?)

Answer: Frankenstein's monster is saying that he hates human because they have treated him so terribly throughout the entire book. Specifically when the monster reads a book called Milton’s Paradise Lost. The monster related to Satan because he excludes himself from human life and envies its happiness. Whenever he compares himself to Satan, the Monster is also taking a jab at Frankenstein. Satan’s unhappiness is caused by his alienation from his creator, God. The Monster is accusing Frankenstein of playing God by creating him.
