Use trigonometric identities to simplify the expression. 1/cot^2(B) +1.....the B represents the symbol of beta.

(1)/( \ \cot^(2) ( \beta ) + 1 ) )

1 / ( \cot ^(2) ( \beta ) + 1) \\ = 1 / \ \csc ^(2) ( \beta ) \\ = \sin^(2) ( \beta )

As

cosec^1/2 (B)- cot^1/2(B)=1

so cosec^1/2(B)= 1+ cot^1/2 (B)
