Angle CDE is 90°, so x° must also be 90°. (BDC=180°, divide by 2= 90°)
Both triangles are exactly the same so angle DBA will also be 47°. You now know two angles, 90° and 47°. Triangle = 180°, so 180-90-47= y° (43°)
