Since x and y are integers the of the squares must be 52

x^2 = y^2 +52

We know that it must be fairly large

Let y = 12

x^2 = 12^2 +52

x^2 = 144+52

x^2 = 196

x=14

The perimeter is the sum of the 4 sides

P = x+x + (x-y) +y+y + (x-y)

Combining like terms

P = 4x

P = 4(14)

P = 56
