Answer:

The first equation in standard form: 6x + 4y = 2

Point-slope form: y = -3/2x + 1/2

The second equation in standard form: 3x + 2y = 1

Point-slope form: y = -3/2 + 1/2

As you can see, the equations are have the exact same slope and y-intercept, so they are the same line. They are not consistent and independent, because this would mean the two lines share one solution. They are not inconsistent because this would mean the two lines share no solution. They are consistent, meaning they have infinitely many solutions. When graphed, the lines are on each other, so they have infinitely many solutions.

Answer:

Consistent and dependent

Explanation:

"If a system has at least one solution, it is said to be consistent. If a consistent system has exactly one solution, it is independent. If a consistent system has an infinite number of solutions, it is dependent."

I believe this is the answer but I have not submitted the test yet
