Why?

Since i'ts a rectangle triangle (there is at least a 90° angle), we can use the following formula to calculate the measure of N to the nearest whole degree


Tan(N)=(Opposite)/(Adjacent)


Opposite=5,74\\Adjacent=4


Tan(N)=(5,74)/(4)=1,435\\

So, to know the value of N, we have to calculate the inverse of Tan(N) or Arctg:


Tan(N)^(-1) =Tan(1,435)^((-1))\\N=55,128=55°
