Line 13 is the volta, or changing point of the sonnet. The word “yet” is a good indicator of this change. Up until this line, Shakespeare has described how his mistress is not very beautiful. At line 13, however, he tells how he thinks his love is more special than anything falsely compared to her, meaning he loves her even with her imperfections.
