let n, n + 1 and n + 2 be the three numbers. then

n + n + 1 + n + 2 = 102 ( sum of 3 numbers )

3n + 3 = 102 ( subtract 3 from both sides )

3n = 99 ( divide both sides by 3 )

n = 33

The 3 numbers are 33, 34 and 35

33 is the smallest of the three
