Answer: The quartiles in the box-and-whisker plot are 7, 11, and 12. Since 11 is not an option, 7 and 12 are the answers.

Explanation:

In a box-and-whisker plot, there are 3 quartiles. These are the lower quartile, the middle quartile (otherwise known as the median), and the upper quartile. The lower quartile is indicated by the left side of the box. Since in this plot, the left side of the box is aligned with the 7, the 7 is the lower quartile. The median can be found by the line going through the inside of the box. For this graph, this line is located on the 11 mark. Therefore, the median is equal to 11. The upper quartile is indicated by the right side of the box. For this graph, the right side of the box is aligned with the 12 mark. Therefore, the upper quartile is equal to 12.

Hope this helps! Please let me know if you need any more help or if there's anything you don't understand! ^-^
