This problem makes no sense if those are the answers you have to choose from.

3b = 2; divide both sides by 3, so b= 2/3. Now they want b2, which must mean either two times b, which would be 2(2/3) = 4/3, OR maybe they meant b squared? Which would be (2/3)(2/3) = 4/9. None of those are choices for answers so I would check the report content error box

Answer: .667(2)= 13

Hope this helps you!

Explanation:

3b=2

One solution was found :

b = 2/3 = 0.667

Rearrange:

Rearrange the equation by subtracting what is to the right of the equal sign from both sides of the equation :

3*b-(2)=0

Step by step solution :

Step 1 :

Solving a Single Variable Equation :

1.1 Solve : 3b-2 = 0

Add 2 to both sides of the equation :

3b = 2

Divide both sides of the equation by 3:

b = 2/3 = 0.667

One solution was found :

b = 2/3 = 0.667
