Sarah used her calculator to find tan(122˚) She wrote down an answer of 0.34. How could Sarah recognize that her answer is incorrect

Answer:

The angle 122 is in the second quadrant where sin is positive and cos is negative. Hence the ratio sin\cos (aka tan) should be a negative number. But 0.34 is positive so something is incorrect.
