1. To create laws that protect women and children from discrimination. This is a very important step as legislature is enforced in most countries and crimes against it punishable. These laws should protect women and children from any kind of abuse, mental or physical.
2. To educate community members on issues of violence and discrimination so that they may act if they see an offence in their neighborhood.
3. To encourage women to take part in the political process and educate the public about the value of women's vote. This is especially important in developing countries where women are still seen as inferior to men.
