Answer: 20 meters.

Explanation:

Given :An ant travels 7.5 meters in 1.5 minutes.

Ratio of distance traveled by ant to time :-

(7.5)/(1.5) (1)

Let x be the distance travel by ant in 4 minutes.

Then, the ratio of distance traveled by ant to time :

(x)/(4) (2)

Since, The distance an ant can travel on the ground varies directly with the amount of time it spends traveling.

Then from (1) and (2),

(x)/(4)=(7.5)/(1.5)\\\\\Rightarrow\ x=(7.5*4)/(1.5)=5*4=20

hence, the distance travel by ant in 4 minutes = 20 meters.
