Explain a few of the possible reasons for the collapse of Maya civilization.

In the archaeological theme, the decline was due to the cessation of inscriptions on the monuments and decrease in large-scale construction works. Also due to climate change (drought), due to deforestation, there are hypotheses that say that the lowlands of the south were invaded by people alien to the Mayan culture.
