Hello from MrBillDoesMath!

Answer:

n = 0 or n =1

Discussion:

If -8n(8n-8) = 0 then either

8n = 0 or 8n -8 = 0

Case 1: 8n = 0 => n = 0

Case 2: 8n-8 = 0. Add 8 to both sides:

8n - 8 + 8 = 8 => as =8 + 8 = 0

8n = 8 => divide both sides by 8

n = 8/8 = 1

Note the negative sign in the original equation has no impact on the answers

Thank you,

MrB
