Kate isn’t quite sure what she wants to do professionally. She likes reading and talking about philosophy and has been lucky enough to have her grandparents offer to pay for school. What education path should she consider?

The education path Kate should consider is college and universities. Rather than going for on-the-job training or trade schools.

In college or university, she can earn a degree or a bachelor. There she will study different areas related to philosophy and she can decide which career to follow. As she likes reading and philosophy she may study Philosophy, Law, Literature or Liberal arts, History and Social science and will have the support of their grandparents.

She can study to become a Philosophy professor. During her career, in college, she will have a lot of lectures with plenty of books to read and debate, argue, etc. Being a professor will help her to keep on talking of what she likes and from that side she will help the students to start wondering about the world they live in, to understand the common things they do everyday, she will provide resources, ideas and practices such as dialogue and writing for her students to start growing their personality, their way to express themselves, their autenticity, to develop their own thoughts. All of those things is what she can do teaching philosophy.
