-Perimeter is the outside

-add 9.5 four times

-9.5+9.5+9.5+9.5=38!

part A: perimeter is 38

steps: add all 4 sides to get perimeter (the outer length)

9.5×9.5×9.5×9.5=38

equation: p=s^4 or p=s×s×s×s

p stands for perimeter and 4s is the side length being multiple 4 times

part B: area is 90.25

steps:you multiply the length times the width to find are and since a squares sides are all equal you multiply 9.5 times 9.5

equation: L×W= area
