If he could keep the same rate for the last 5 laps, he would finish in 48 minutes.

Explanation:

In order to find this, create a proportion. The left side would be the pace that he set. The right side would be the expectation.

10/32 = 15/x

Now cross multiply to solve.

10*x = 15*32

10x = 480

x = 48
