There are only blue cubes yellow cubes and green cubes in a bag there are three times as many blue cubes as yellow cubes and five times as many green cubes as blue cubes sarah takes at random a cube from the bag. What is the probability that sarah takes a yellow cube. Give your answer in its simplest form.

there are three times as many blue cubes as yellow cubes which means that number of blue cubes will be =3x.

Also, it given that there are five times as many green cubes as blue cubes which means number of green cubes will be =5(3x)=15x.

Yellow: blue: green

⇒x:3x:15x

⇒1:3:15

Therefore, total number of cubes will be= 1+3+15=19.

Now, the probability that sarah takes a yellow cube will be=
(Number of yellow cubes)/(Total number of cubes)

Thus, the probability that sarah takes a yellow cube will be=
