Answer:

What is the average rate of change for this exponential function for the interval from x=0 to x=2

m = (f(2) - f(0)) / (2 - 0)

m = (4 - 1) / (2 - 0)

m = 3 / 2

m = 1.5

Answer:

Average rate of change =1.5

Explanation:

From the graph ,

when x=0 , the value of y =1

when x=2 the value of y = 4

Average rate of change =
(f(b)-f(a))/(b-a)

a= 0 , f(a)=1

b=2, f(b)= 4

Average rate of change =
(4-1)/(2-0)

=
(3)/(2)=1.5

Average rate of change =1.5
