y= ab^x

where a is the initial value and b is the growth rate or what we multiply by

For the first point x=1 and y = 3/2

3/2 = a b^1

3/2 = a*b

For the second point x=2 and y = 9/8

9/8 = a b^2

Take the second equation over the first

9/8 = a b^2

3/2 = a*b


3/4 = b

The growth rate is 3/4
