EQUATION: $1,000= $2.50x + $400

1000= 2.50p +400

Subtract 400 from both sides

1000= 2.50p +400
-400. -400
——————————
600 = 2.50p

Divide each side by 2.50

600 = 2.50p
———————
2.50

p = 240

THEY CAN PURCHASE UP TO 240 PAMPHLETS
