Answer for picture 1:

According to the picture given it is clear that the pressure is greater inside the area of the tube (B) than the area outside the tube (D). This is because the area inside the tube is much smaller than the area outside the tube. Though the pressure and area are inversely proportional to each other. That is why the pressure is greater inside the tube. The reason of it is lesser the area, more will be the pressure.

Answer for picture 2:

As given in the question the mass and the velocity is mentioned:

Mass(m): 38 kg

Velocity(v): 2.2 m/s

Formula of momentum(P)=mv

Solution for this question is substituting the given in the formula:

P= 38×2.2

P= 83.6 kg.m/s

Therefore the momentum is found to be 83.6 kg.m/s.

28. the pressure is greater outside the tube (D) than inside the tube(B). this is because when (A) is pressed it forces air out through (C). Spraying causes a region of low pressure inside the tube (B). This difference in pressure causes the rise of the concentrated fertilizer solution into the chamber which in turn is sprayed and the process continues.

27. momentum is the product of mass and the velocity of a particle.

momentum= mv where m is the mass in kg and v the velocity in m/s

thus from the question, m= 38kg v= 2.2m/s

therefore momentum=38kg×2.2m/s

=83.8kgm/s
