the points (-8, -1) and (2 ,4) are the endpoints of a diameter of a circle. Find the length of the radius of the circle.​

Answer:

x = x2 - x1 = -8 -2 = -10

y = y2 - y1 = -1 -4 = -5

diameter = (x^2 + y^2)^1/2 = (100 + 25)^1/2 = 11.18

radius = 11.18 / 2 = 5.59 or 1/2 the diameter.
