To find the answer, we can set an equation.

Let y kg be the butter used this month:

As 25% more is used than last month, the butter used this month would be: y ( 1- 25%)

The equation:

y (1-25%) = 240
0.75y = 240
y = 240/0.75
y = 320

Therefore, 320kg of flour is used this month.

Hope it helps!
