One B has a diameter of 12 kilometers and a slant height of 10 kilometers. Determine the volume of Cone B.

120km^3

96km^3

144km^3

384km^3

So, I've tried doing this two different ways and got 376.8 and 301.44, and you might've guessed it! Neither are options. I used the formulas v = 1/3 * 3.14 * r^2 * h and v = 3.14 * r * (slant height) + 3.14 * r^2 but.. I can't figure it out?

Answer:

The answer no matter how you slice it is 301.59km^3. I tried many methods but to no avail haven't seen any of the given answers provided. For the slant and radius make up a right triangle to get the height 8km to be used in the formula to get the answer I previously stated.
