The chemical formula for magnesium fluoride would be MgF2 (the 2 is subscript but I cannot type that)
Mm=Molar mass
Mm(Mg)= 24.31g/mol
Mm(F) = 19.00g/mol
Mm(MgF2) = 2(19.00) + 24.31
Mm(MgF2) = 62.31g/mol
