Answer:

x = 5/3 x = 4/3

Explanation:

3 I2x-3I+2=3

Subtract 2 from each side

3 I2x-3I+2-2=3-2

3 I2x-3I=1

Divide by 3

3/3I2x-3I=1/3

I2x-3I=1/3

Now we have two solutions to an absolute value, a positive and a negative

2x-3 = 1/3 2x-3 = -1/3

Add 3 to each side

2x-3+3 = 1/3+3 2x-3+3 = -1/3+3

2x= 1/3+9/3 2x = -1/3 +9/3

2x = 10/3 2x = 8/3

Divide by 2

2x/2 = 10/3 *1/2 2x/2 = 8/3 *1/2

x = 5/3 x = 4/3
