Here we know that internal energy of arrow has been increased by 40.48 J as it is striking to the target

so here by energy conservation we can say

initial kinetic energy of arrow = final internal energy of the arrow

so here we have


KE = U_(internal)

so here since increase in the internal energy is 40.48 J

so the kinetic energy will be given as


KE = 40.48 J
