Hello from MrBillDoesMath!

Answer:

(3 x - 1) (2 x - 1)

Discussion:

Polynomial = 6x^2 -5x + 1.

Look at the factors of the leading (x^2) term: 6. Factors of 6 are 2 and 3 and 3-2 equals 1 which is the constant term. So the numbers 2 and 3 are key to the factorization.A little fiddling around (how's that for a math concept!) shows the factorization is

(3 x - 1) (2 x - 1)

Note that 3 and 2 appear in the factorization.

Thank you,

MrB
