What will most likely happen in the absence of a cell wall? (1 point)

Without the cell wall, the plant cell willcollapse. Uptake of nutrients would be tough and the cell would be without any protection. Hence the plant wouldeventually die. The cell wall is composed of cellulose and gives plants rigidity, strength and structure

Answer: Cell will lose it's shape and support

Explanation: without the cell wall the plant cell would only have a cell membrane but with the cell wall gone the plants cell membrane would be destroyed because it would not be adapt.
