My best explanation is cut the trapezoid in half, and then multiply the top and bottom parts as well as 8 (the height) then divide by 4, then square that. I Think this should help. If It does not, I am so sorry but I have work to do my self.

the formula or the area of a trapezoid is (a+b) divided by 2 times height so the answer is 128ft2
