Alex lives in Arizona. He plants flowers in a pot with new soil mixed with fertilizers, and he places the pot on his back porch. The flowers receive lots of morning and afternoon sun each day. He waters the plant once that week. When he checks his plant later in the week, he notices that it is starting to turn brown. The plant is also starting to wilt. Which of the following is the reason for these changes in Alex's plant? A. The soil does not have enough nutrients to feed the plant. B. The plant is getting too much sunlight. C. It was too windy for the plant to stand straight. D. The plant has not received enough water.

Since he’s watering it and it’s getting sun, i would say it’s because the soil isn’t rich enough and it doesn’t have the nutrients it needs for the plant to grow.
