Cold war refers to the time after the world wars which was characterized by to severe political tension between the United states and its supporters(which encouraged capitalist economies) and the Soviet union and its supporters. (which encouraged communist economies)

It was a war in which propaganda was used as the main weapon to propel international fears to stagnate the economies and international relations of the rival states.
