If i mix 3parts of blue paint with one part of yellow to make green and my sister mixed five parts of blue and two parts of yellow to make green also . Will the two shades be the same ? Why or why not ?

Answer: NO. The ratios are not equivalent.

Explanation:

The blue to yellow ratio of 3:1 ≠ 5:2 so the shades will not be the same.

If the second ratio was 6:2, then they would be equivalent.
