D = x is a date, expressed in day/month/year
ƒ(x) = temperature in Seattle Washington on that date


A:Yes. One input results in one output.

B:Yes. One output results in one input.

C:No. At least one output results in more than one input.

D:No. At least one input results in more than one output.

Answer: D


Step-by-step explanation: No,this is not a function.Since corresponding to one value of the domain there must exist its unique image.

i.e. if x∈D then f(x) must be unique.

As, temprature varies in a day.On any date temprature can't be constant.It keeps on changing.

So,here atleast one input results in more than one output
