-Overexploitation means harvesting species from the wild at rates faster than natural populations can recover. Overfishing and overhunting are both types of overexploitation.

-We have big boats, fancy GPS systems, and mechanized fishing lines, which causes more over exploitation

Answer:

Overexploitation is a problem that threatens the oceans and marine species.

Overexploitation in fishing is related to the fact that so many examples of a marine species are captured that repopulation is impossible. This situation occurs due to the increase of the population in the countries. This is why large boats are now used for fishing and very aggressive techniques with all species, especially large carnivorous fish craving for their meat, but whose disappearance brings great imbalances.
