What is the direction of the current in the loop as the north pole of the magnet is pulled away (to the right) from the loop of wire. Answer as you face the loop from the magnet.

As per Lenz law we know that rate of change in flux will induce the EMF in conducting coil and this will induce in such a direction that will oppose the cause due to which it is induced

Now here we know that the north pole of magnet is moving away from the coil so that magnetic flux from the coil is decreasing.

So here the induced current in the loop will be in such a way that the induced current in loop will tend to increase this flux again

SO here the current in the will be in CLOCKWISE direction so that the induced current in the loop will again increase the magnetic flux and hence the Lenz law will be valid.

So here the answer must be CLOCKWISE direction
