Answer: 112.5 square cm

Explanation:

The area of the rectangle is
(20)(9)=180 square cm.

The area of the white triangle is
(1)/(2)(9)(20-3-2)=67.5 square cm.

So, the area of the shaded region is
180-67.5=112.5 square cm.
