One political benefit of the Industrial Revolution was the fact that the middle class was developed. This in turn contributed to reducing the power of the noble classes and landed gentry.
An economic benefit was that, due to the efficiency with which factories and machinery operated, the countries that underwent industrialization registered a rise in the economic power of most of its population, even when many of these countries struggled with the issue of poverty.
