Since it is a trapezoid so we need a two parallel lines. There is no right angle so we must draw non parallel lines which are in slant position.

Now problem is about how to choose the dimension so that area of trapezoid is less than 12 square centimeters. To do that easily, we can use graph paper where side of each square box is 1 centimeter. Then each square box will be equal to 1 square centimeter.
