From time 0 to about what looks like 8s the object was moving with a constant velocity. Then the object remained stationary from time 8 to 12s as the slope of the line is 0. Then the object travelled with a different constant velocity (greater) from time 12 to time 20s.

Explanation :

The attached figure shows a distance time graph. The object starts its motion from t = 0.

The path OA shows that, it is moving with uniform motion. Its distance is increasing continuously with time. From 8 s to 12 s, the object is at rest (AB).

After 12 s, the object again travels equal distances in equal interval of time i.e uniform motion.

Hence, this is the required solution.
