Hello,

We have A(3, 5) and B(5, 6)

m=(y_(B)-y_(A))/(x_(B)-x_(A)) =(6-5)/(5-3) =(1)/(2)

We know the line contain the point (3, 5)

y = 1/2x + b

⇔ 5 = 1/2 × 3 + b

⇔ 5 = 3/2 + b

⇔ 5 - 3/2 = b

⇔ b = 10/2 - 3/2

⇔ b = (10 - 3)/2

⇔ b = 7/2

\boxed{y = (1)/(2)x + (7)/(2) }
