Answer:

If we know Mustafa, Heloise, and Gia have written more than a combined total of 22 articles, this can be written as:

M+H+G>22 (1)

Now, we are asked to determine the number of articles Mustafa could have written. So, firstly we have to write the following relations:

Heloise has written 1/4 as many articles as Mustafa has

H=(1)/(4)M (2)

Gia has written 3/2 as many articles as Mustafa has:

G=(3)/(2)M (3)

Then, we have to substitute the values of the equations (2) and (3) in equation (1):

M+(1)/(4)M+(3)/(2)M>22

And find the amount of articles Mustafa could have written:

(4M+M+6M)/(4)>22

11M>(22)(4)

M>(88)/(11)

Finally:

M>8 This is the amount of articles Mustafa could have written
