No.

Reasons:

1. Zanroff has home-field advantage and n=knows the island well.

2. Zanroff is a general and Ivan is also trained in war.

3. Dogs. the dogs are very well trained.

4. the person being hunted is an unwilling participant and only has food, a knife, and a 3 day head-start. while Zanroff has a gun and all of his other previously listed advantages.
